The Houston Texans versus Cincinnati Bengals Week 16 bout at NRG Stadium is being moved from CBS to FOX.
The Houston Texans will play in their fourth FOX game of the 2020 season.
The NFL announced schedule changes for Weeks 15 and 16, and the Texans’ matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals on Dec. 27 at NRG Stadium will be moved from CBS to FOX.
While Texans games have been blacked out in the Houston area on CBS affiliate KHOU for AT&T U-verse and DirecTV subscribers due to the carriage rate standoff between AT&T and TEGNA, that may have not been the motivating factor. Houston versus Indianapolis in Week 15, coming up this Sunday, will stay on CBS. However, Texans fans will be able to see the game on the Texans’ mobile app.
The Chicago Bears at Jacksonville Jaguars, which was supposed to be a FOX game, goes to CBS in Week 16. The Bears are still in the playoff chase, regardless of how dismal the Jaguars are at 1-12. Similarly, Houston is 4-9 and the Bengals are 2-10-1.
In Week 10, the Texans played an all-AFC game on FOX, the NFC rights holder, when they visited the Cleveland Browns in a 10-7 loss at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Player acquisition is always a big deal, but it’s an extra bit of fun when it’s a player that fans have been clamoring for for months, and it’s even better when the signing comes the week on-field work begins for the Dallas Cowboys. The Everson Griffen deal is broken down from every angle and it’s impossible to call it anything other than what it is: a huge win.
Elsewhere, owner Jerry Jones is promising an audience for his band of merry performers despite the pandemic but in order for that to happen there’s a laundry list of precautions the AT&T stadium has to adhere to. Despite the lack of college football teams actually playing this fall, there’s a mock draft to bring more talent to Dallas and an advanced stat dive into the NFC East.
With the addition of Everson Griffen, see how the Cowboys defensive line ranks within their own locker room. The addition is a big piece to set the Cowboys over the top.
It’s been said that stats don’t lie. Find out where the Cowboys sit in the NFC East in 2020 when comparing against division rivals in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington.
Football isn’t just about the 32 teams in the league. Football brings a sense of normalcy to the world and Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones says it’s quite important to play out the entire season in 2020.
Believe it or not, mock drafts for the 2021 season are already underway. The Cowboys land some help in the tight end room adding the possible missing piece to an already explosive offense.
An unlikely name on the Cowboys coaching staff is named one of thirteen people with their work cut out for them in Joe Philbin. Despite the performance of the offensive line over the years, there’s no Travis Frederick and a left tackle in Tyron Smith whose best years are likely behind him.
With the insistence of Jerry Jones that at least some fans will be in attendance for home games in Arlington this year comes the release of how they plan on making it as safe as possible.
Ezekiel Elliott continues to put his money where is mouth is and releases a limited edition golf ball that will be sold to benefit the North Texas Food Bank.

It’s a significant day for Mexican golf. Shortly after Gaby Lopez locked up the first tournament of the LPGA season in seven extra holes, AT&T announced a multi-year sponsorship deal with Maria Fassi.
The AT&T announcement is especially significant given that Fassi is the first LPGA athlete the company has signed. AT&T’s commitment to professional golf includes the sponsorship of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, the Masters, Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic and AT&T Athlete Jordan Spieth.
Fassi, of course, became an immediate fan favorite at the inaugural Augusta National Women’s Amateur, where she finished runner-up to Jennifer Kupcho. Her potential star power was immediately recognized by many. PGA of America president Suzy Whaley played with Fassi in the pro-am at last year’s KPMG Women’s PGA and called her the LPGA’s next superstar.
Fassi will make her 2020 debut at this week’s Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio. She signed with TaylorMade late last year.
“Sports need role models like Maria whose incredible skills on the course and character beyond it continually elevate the game of golf for women and for all athletes,” said Lori Lee, Global Marketing Officer for AT&T Inc. and CEO AT&T Latin America in a release. “We’re committed to raising the visibility of women in sports and are thrilled to have Maria join our team.”
The AT&T logo will be placed on Fassi’s bag, sleeve, towel and phone case.
“I’m excited to be a part of the AT&T family and represent the brand for the first time as an AT&T Athlete this week at Gainbridge,” said Maria Fassi. “It’s great to be supported by a company that’s championed golf for decades, gives back to communities and supports up-and-coming athletes like me.”
