The Atlanta Hawks (17-20) host the Sacramento Kings (15-22) Saturday at State Farm Arena for a 7:30 p.m. ET tip-off. Below, we analyze the Kings-Hawks odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
Sacramento smoked the hapless Houston Rockets 125-105 Thursday in its first game back from the All-Star break. The Kings are 3-2 overall and against the spread in their last five games.
The Hawks squeaked past the Toronto Raptors 121-120 Thursday with a buzzer-beater three from SF Tony Snell for their third consecutive victory. Atlanta’s past five games were on the road where it was 3-2 overall and 1-3-1 ATS.
The Kings have beaten the Hawks in four straight meetings and covered the spread each time.

Kings at Hawks: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Kings 124, Hawks 120
Money line (ML)
Atlanta’s implied win probability for the -190 money line is 65.52% and there’s no way this version of the Hawks, who just fired their head coach prior to the All-Star break, beats the Kings that often.
Don’t get me wrong, Sacramento is terrible, but not as disappointing as Atlanta this season. For instance, the Hawks’ projected regular-season win total was 36.5 coming into the season and the Kings’ line was set at 27.5 wins.
Sacramento plays in the toughest division and is the only losing team in the Pacific Division; the Kings have also played the third-toughest schedule in the league.
Whereas Atlanta plays in the softest division in the Association, which has just one winning team (not the Hawks).
Let’s sprinkle a quarter-unit on KINGS (+155) as a bet against the Hawks.

Against the spread (ATS)
BET KINGS +4.5 (-110) instead of or heavier than the money line because Sacramento plus the points is a way sharper wager.
This is a great spot for the Kings, who are 8-4 ATS with a plus-2.5 spread differential as road dogs. As mentioned, they’ve covered in four straight against the Hawks.
It’s more of a lean because both teams are bad, but Atlanta is 3-0 since making Nate McMillan interim head coach March 2.
Over/Under (O/U)
The OVER 238.5 (-110) is probably the best play in Kings-Hawks because both teams are bottom-10 in defensive rating and top-10 in offensive rating.
Additionally, Atlanta just allowed 120 points to a Toronto team missing several starters and five of the past six Kings-Hawks games have gone Over the projected total.
BET OVER 238.5 (-110) for a half-unit.
