The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had already gotten a handful of touchdown passes from Tom Brady. The defense decided it was time to get in on the act Sunday against Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons.
The Buccaneers had a 35-25 lead in the fourth quarter when Ryan looked to lead a Falcons comeback.
The veteran dropped back and looked for a receiver. Unfortunately, he connected with Mike Edwards of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Edwards was happy to take the gift back to the end zone. Thirty-one yards later Tampa Bay had 6 points and a 16-point lead.
The PAT was no good. Still, Tampa Bay had scored better than 30 points for its eighth straight game.
