After just three games and 17 total punts, Ashton Logan’s time at Colorado has ended.
The freshman missed the Buffs’ Week 4 and Week 5 games due to illness, and it was then made public on Oct. 4 that he had been dismissed from the program for violating team rules.
Although already off the team, Logan announced on Wednesday that he will be entering the transfer portal with four years of eligibility remaining. He had averaged just 40.59 yards per punt during his Buffs career.
Walk-on punter Trent Carrizosa has looked strong the past two weeks, however, and he’ll now likely take over full-time punting duties.
