Cardinals injury report: RT Kelvin Beachum questionable, LB Devon Kennard out

Justin Murray will likely be the starter at right tackle against the Vikings.

The Arizona Cardinals released their final injury report of the week on Friday and they are set to take on the Minnesota Vikings in their home opener. They ruled out one player and one of their starting offensive linemen will be a Sunday decision.

Linebacker Devon Kennard missed all week of practice with a hamstring injury. He will miss the game on Sunday, meaning more potential snaps for Kylie Fitts and rookie Victor Dimukeje.

Right tackle Kelvin Beachum was able to return to practice Friday. The rib injury he suffered in the second half of the Cardinals’ Week 1 win kept him out of practice Wednesday and Thursday. He got limited work on Friday. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said he would be a game-time decision.

If Beachum isn’t able to go, Justin Murray will likely get the start at right tackle.

Safety Charles Washington (thigh) was a full participant Friday after sitting out Wednesday and getting limited work Thursday.

Ruled out:

  • LB Devon Kennard

Questionable:

  • RT Kelvin Beachum (ribs)
