Sneak peek of the Texas A&M alternate football uniforms for the 2024 season

Alternate uniforms might be making their way back to Aggieland!

For a little while, the NFL stood for the “No Fun League” because of its celebration rules, among other things. That’s one reason why college football is just more exciting to watch. Another big thing is the uniforms that several teams switch out during the season, with the Oregon Ducks being the most famous.

With the recruiting landscape changing rapidly, sometimes just having nice gear for them to post on social media can help play a minor role in getting them to campus for additional visits. Not only are alternate jerseys fun for the team, but most fans also like to see the team come out in something a little different than their traditional colors.

Over the years, Texas A&M coaches have had different philosophies on alternate uniforms, with Kevin Sumlin being a fan while Jimbo Fisher went the more traditional route. With a new sheriff in town, it appears new head coach Mike Elko is prepared to unveil the alternate uniforms for the 2024 season.

Furthermore, Good Bull Hunting’s Robert Behrens noted that these all-black uniforms are possibly scheduled to be worn during the Aggie’s home matchup vs. LSU on Saturday, Oct. 26.
