Texas A&M’s uniform vs. Auburn has been revealed

Texas A&M is going wit the all-white look against the Auburn Tigers for Saturday night’s showdown in Jordan-Hare

Texas A&M (8-2, 5-1 SEC) will head to Alabama on Friday in preparation for the Week 13 road test against Auburn (4-6, 1-5 SEC). The Aggies enter the weekend in must-win mode, needing a victory to keep their SEC Title and CFP hopes alive before hosting Texas in the regular season finale.

Throughout the week, head coach Mike Elko has vocalized the team’s focus on the task at hand. His Monday slip-up, stating, “We’re focused on Texas. I mean Auburn,” might have made the headlines, but this was simply fodder for the media and rival fanbases.

On paper, Texas A&M is the better team. Still, Auburn’s poor record is mainly based on turnover issues, late-game mishaps, and poor coaching despite fielding a respectable defense and above-average offense with plenty of weapons in the passing game. Star running back Jarquez Hunter is a problem for every defense he faces.

However, the Aggie’s determination and elite pass rush could be enough to leave Jordan-Hare with a win, and a little magic from A&M’s uniform choice could also make an impact.

On Thursday, Texas A&M’s media team revealed that the Aggies are wearing the all-white look, similar to the team’s uniform, during A&M’s 33-20 road win over the Gators in Week 3. Here is the official reveal:

Texas A&M will face Auburn on the road on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 6:30 pm. CT. The game will air on ESPN.

Texas A&M uniform vs. South Carolina has been revealed

Texas A&M will counter South Carolina’s all-black uniform look on Saturday night

Texas A&M’s 7-1 record and 5-0 first-round standing in the SEC are all on the line this weekend. The Aggies will travel to Columbia (SC) to face South Carolina in one of the more underrated rivalries in the country.

Since entering the SEC at the start of the 2012 season, Texas A&M has won every game in the series outside of the 2022 matchup, but this Gamecocks team is much different compared to years past. South Carolina possesses one of the best defenses in the country.

While any road game in the SEC comes with many challenges, the Aggies, under first-year head coach Mike Elko, are built differently. They play with added physicality in the trenches, are focused on rushing the passer, and run the ball efficiently.

Needing the right quarterback to run the show, the debate this week has been surrounded around Aggie Qbs, Marcel Reed, and Conner Weigman, whose different skill sets have created an advantage for an offense wanting to confuse every opponent.

However, someone has to start, and based on this week’s practice, that answer will likely come just hours before the game.

Now, how will the Aggies look uniform-wise against the Gamecocks?

In another entertaining video from Texas A&M’s talented media team, junior defensive end Shemar Stewart is seen wearing a white jersey, white pants, and the standard maroon helmet for the first time this season, which will counter South Carolina’s all-black uniform.

Texas A&M will travel to Columbia to face South Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 2nd, at 6:30 p.m. CT. The game will air on either ABC.

Sneak peek of the Texas A&M alternate football uniforms for the 2024 season

Alternate uniforms might be making their way back to Aggieland!

For a little while, the NFL stood for the “No Fun League” because of its celebration rules, among other things. That’s one reason why college football is just more exciting to watch. Another big thing is the uniforms that several teams switch out during the season, with the Oregon Ducks being the most famous.

With the recruiting landscape changing rapidly, sometimes just having nice gear for them to post on social media can help play a minor role in getting them to campus for additional visits. Not only are alternate jerseys fun for the team, but most fans also like to see the team come out in something a little different than their traditional colors.

Over the years, Texas A&M coaches have had different philosophies on alternate uniforms, with Kevin Sumlin being a fan while Jimbo Fisher went the more traditional route. With a new sheriff in town, it appears new head coach Mike Elko is prepared to unveil the alternate uniforms for the 2024 season.

Furthermore, Good Bull Hunting’s Robert Behrens noted that these all-black uniforms are possibly scheduled to be worn during the Aggie’s home matchup vs. LSU on Saturday, Oct. 26.
