Alabama football suffered two losses in the 2022 regular season, which proved to be enough to keep the Crimson Tide out of the top four in the latest College Football Playoff rankings. Nick Saban and his team just missed the cut as they were ranked No. 5.
Now, Alabama’s focus will shift to the final game of the season: the Kansas State Wildcats in the Sugar Bowl.
A few players have already elected to enter the NCAA transfer portal, most notably wide receiver Traeshon Holden. Multiple players may elect to opt out of the game in order to avoid the risk of possible injury before the 2023 NFL draft. Star quarterback Bryce Young and highly-coveted linebacker Will Anderson Jr. are a few names to look out for in terms of choosing to sit out of the bowl game.
Roll Tide Wire will continue to cover Alabama football as the team prepares to take on Kansas State.
