AEW Rampage results 04/05/24: Daniel Garcia’s time to shine

A look at the results of the April 5 episode of AEW Rampage.

While it’s WrestleMania weekend in the United States, AEW takes its action north of the border to London, Ontario, Canada for another edition of Rampage. It squares off with the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.

A packed ROH Supercard of Honor preceded Rampage, and a chaotic episode of Dynamite earlier this week also saw Samoa Joe and Swerve Strickland sign the contract to make their AEW World Championship match official. So how will AEW’s Friday show continue the momentum?

Rampage has a stacked lineup with four matches on the card. Malakai Black of House of Block is in action, as well as Roderick Strong taking on a local talent. Additionally, Serena Deeb tries to show why she’s the “Professor” of AEW. And to close out the night, a Four-Way Elimination match pits some of the company’s best up-and-coming talent

Let’s see what this hour of action has in store.

AEW Rampage results from London, Ontario:

  • Malakai Black def. Christopher Daniels by pinfall
  • Roderick Strong introduces the first-ever Roderick Strong International Challenge; he interviews London Lightning, a hometown wrestler; Strong criticizes London’s name and asks him what his chances are in this match; London says his mother is cheering him on from the couch, and his odds of winning are better than Strong’s
  • Roderick Strong def. London Lightning by submission in an Eliminator match
  • Layla Hirsch says while she’s been wrestling in Ring of Honor the past year, she’s back in AEW to prove why she’s legit; she challenges Julia Hart to an Open House Rules match for next week
  • Serena Deeb def. Trish Adora by submission
  • Julia Hart accepts Layla Hirsch’s challenge and warns her that the House always win
  • Saraya says she’s been nothing but great to Ruby Soho; Zak Knight says he promises to take absolutely everything from Angelo Parker next week
  • Daniel Garcia def. Action Andretti, Komander and Bryan Keith in a Four-Way Elimination Match

AEW Rampage results 03/29/24: Matt Menard seeks his first title match

A look at the results from the March 29 episode of AEW Rampage.

The latest stop on AEW’s Canada tour takes Tony Khan’s crew to Quebec City for Rampage. With shows on the schedule already featuring a heavy north-of-the-border flavor, the March 29 episode will prove no different, with local favorite “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard in action. The part-time AEW commentator faces Roderick Strong in an AEW International Championship match to earn his first-ever AEW title bout.

While this isn’t AEW’s strongest Rampage card, it still has veterans such as Dustin Rhodes and The Butcher competing. Rising star Mariah May receives another opportunity to showcase her in-ring prowess, as well.

Let’s see what this hour of action has in store.

AEW Rampage results from Quebec City:

  • Dustin Rhodes def. The Butcher by pinfall
  • Jay White and Austin and Colten Gunn show up at Daddy Ass’ house for dinner, and while they search for him and The Acclaimed, they destroy the house; White says if The Acclaimed want the version of Jay White who dominated the pro wrestling world, it’s who they will receive; Daddy Ass arrives while his sons and White are there, however, chasing them away
  • Deonna Purrazzo def. Rose by submission; it was easily Purrazzo’s most aggressive performance since joining AEW
  • A video package teases Bryan Danielson vs. Will Ospreay at AEW Dynasty
  • Toni Storm joins Mariah May in the ring and says she can’t compete due to a hamstring injury, so May will take her place against Nikita
  • Mariah May def. Nikita by pinfall
  • Zak Knight says in an interview backstage that he’s in Angelo Parker’s head; Parker attacks Knight by surprise and makes Saraya’s brother flee; Ruby Soho kisses Parker but walks away after accusing him of going back on his word looking for a fight
  • A promo package from The Righteous teases their match with Lance Archer against Katsuyori Shibata and the BCC for the Saturday, Mar. 30 episode of Collision
  • Roderick Strong def. “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard by pinfall in an AEW International Championship Elimination match; Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta save Menard from a post-match attack at the hands of Matt Taven and Mike Bennett; The Young Bucks intervene at the end of the brawl, hitting low blows and EVP Triggers on Cassidy and Beretta to close the show

Is AEW Rampage new tonight, 03/22/24?

College basketball is messing with the AEW Rampage schedule, but only for this week.

The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is in full swing, and the Warner Bros. Discovery family of cable networks is heavily involved in carrying all the college hoops action. That means some changes to the AEW programming schedule, including AEW Rampage.

In previous years, Rampage was sometimes aired late at night after basketball was over on the Friday of the first round. That isn’t the case this year, and there is no new episode of AEW Rampage tonight, March 22.

Instead, Rampage was live this week in Toronto on Wednesday, effectively turning Dynamite into a three-hour show. In fact the finish of Dynamite even bled over into the beginning of Rampage, with Adam Copeland celebrating what appears to be the end of his long-running feud with Christian Cage.

Rampage itself was a lot of fun, undoubtedly helped by the fact that it was live in front of a hot Toronto crowd, and was capped off by an entertaining Street Fight pitting Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale against Julia Hart and Skye Blue.

If you missed it Wednesday, we have full AEW Rampage results right here.

It’s worth noting that because of basketball, there’s also no new episode of AEW Collision this weekend at all. However, both Rampage and Collision will return to their regular nights and times next week on March 29 and 30.

AEW Rampage results 03/20/24: Julia Hart, Skye Blue prevail in Street Fight

We also saw Best Friends advance in the AEW tag team title tournament in Toronto.

How’s everyone feeling after AEW Dynamite? Ready for another hour of wrestling? Because that’s exactly what we’re getting on a live episode of AEW Rampage on a special night.

In fact the change from one show to another in the T-Dot was basically seamless, since the main event I Quit match ran long. Confetti for Adam Copeland, tears for Christian Cage.

But hey, there’s plenty to look forward to on Rampage as well. We’ll see another team advance in the tag team title tournament, and Katsuyori Shibata is in action. The main event should be a women’s tag team Street Fight, and that works for us.

So yes, bring on the third hour, we say, if only for this week. Let’s get into it.

AEW Rampage results from Toronto:

  • Bullet Club Gold is in Florida, not Toronto, threatening to win the trios titles from The Acclaimed, and Jay White claims he saved Darby Allin’s life by breaking his foot and keeping him from climbing Mount Everest
  • Renee Paquette brings out The Acclaimed, who are definitely upset at Bullet Club Gold and lob plenty of insults at White and The Gunns
  • Best Friends (Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta) def. Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher and Powerhouse Hobbs) by pinfall in an AEW Tag Team Tournament Wild Card Match
  • Katsuyori Shibata def. Kevin Matthews by pinfall
  • New TNT Champion Adam Copeland is shown popping champagne bottles backstage with plenty of the roster’s faces
  • Konosuke Takeshita def. Rocky Romero by pinfall
  • Skye Blue and Julia Hart def. Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale by submission in a Street Fight as Hart taps out Statlander; the match included tables, moves on top of the announce table, chairs and a whole mess of thumbtacks

When is AEW Rampage this week? When to tune in

AEW Rampage isn’t on its normal night or time this week. Find out when you’ll need to tune in to catch it.

If you’re looking for AEW Rampage this week, you’ll need to look on a different night than usual.

While Rampage usually airs Friday nights at 10 p.m. on TNT, it’s moved around a number of time due to that network’s sports commitments. That is once again the case this week, as TNT is involved in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament (otherwise known as something that has to do with March), which rules out any wrestling on the Turner networks for a few weeks.

Unlike some of those past pre-emptions, when Rampage would shift to an earlier time, it’s actually moving days and times this week. AEW Rampage will air this week at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, immediately following Dynamite. It’s also on TBS this week, not TNT, so don’t change the channel after Dynamite.

Rampage will be live instead of taped, and coming to us from what should be a live crowd in Toronto as the promotion spends the next few weeks in Canada.

This is also a good time to remind everyone that there will be no new episode of Collision this week for the same basketball-related reasons. That show returns live on Saturday, March 30 from London, Ontario.

The important thing to remember is that for this week, there’s only one night of AEW wrestling, and it’s on Wednesday. The hoops won’t have started yet, so there are no conflicts to tuning in and taking in Dynamite and Rampage back to back.

AEW Rampage results 03/15/24: Konosuke Takeshita dazzles with Komander

A look at the results from the March 15 episode of AEW Rampage.

With Dynasty not slated until April 21, AEW has time to kill in-between major events. Thus far, they’ve used their time well, featuring a raucous match between Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher on Dynamite, Bryan Danielson’s challenging Ospreay to a bout at Dynasty, and the clash between Samoa Joe and Wardlow for the AEW World Championship. Don’t forget about Mercedes Moné’s AEW debut either.

The Mar. 15 episode of Rampage offers AEW another opportunity to shine. Despite lacking high stakes, the card still features intriguing matches highlighting the roster’s top young talent, including Konosuke Takeshita’s first match since his barnburner with Ospreay at Revolution.

With that said, let’s dive in and see what Rampage has in store from the TD Garden in Boston.

AEW Rampage results from Boston

  • Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta def. The Dark Order (Evil Uno and John Silver) by pinfall
  • A video package showcases The Righteous, who have mostly been absent since losing an ROH World Tag Team Championship to MJF in 2023
  • Saraya says her brother, Zack Knight, wants a fight; Knight fights a few guys backstage in a cartoonish rage until Angelo Parker steps up to brawl
  • Toni Storm presents her and Mariah May to the crowd; Storm says they’re performing a “very special” tag team match and calls out Deonna Purrazzo
  • Toni Storm and Mariah May def. Little Mean Kathleen and Kayla Sparks by pinfall; Purrazzo interrupts after the match and brings out Thunder Rosa as her tag partner, and they chase Storm and May from the ring; Purrazzo says she’ll see them next week
  • A video package showcases Queen Aminata, one of AEW’s rising stars
  • Konosuke Takeshita def. Komander by pinfall in a great match worthy of closing the show
  • A vignette showcases Serena Deeb, who says she will become champion
  • The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Mike Bennett and Matt Taven) def. Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin) and Action Andretti by pinfall

AEW Rampage results 03/01/24: 2 nights ’til Revolution

AEW Rampage helped fill in one more spot in a match at Revolution.

We’ve almost made it to the finish line for Sting. His final match awaits in just two nights at AEW Revolution in Greensboro. But AEW scheduling being what it is, we still have two more shows to get through before then, including Rampage tonight.

There are some stakes involved in this episode. For example, there’s one spot up for grabs in the All-Star Scramble on Sunday night, and there’s even a CMLL wrestler who can win his way in.

But perhaps because of the magnitude of this particular Revolution, it does feel like we’re killing time before Greensboro. There looks like there will still be some sweet in-ring action, though, so let’s dive in.

AEW Rampage results:

  • Claudio Castagnoli def. Rugido by pinfall, then knees him in the crotch after the match before Rugido’s tag team partner Magnus runs him off with a steel chair
  • A replay is shown of Matthew and Nicholas Jackson hunting for Sting on Dynamite, complete with Ric Flair turning on the Jacksons and Sting descending from the rafters
  • Lance Archer and The Righteous def. three jobbers by pinfall
  • A video package hypes up the AEW Women’s World Championship match between Toni Storm and Deonna Purrazzo at Revolution
  • Riho def. Trish Adora by pinfall
  • Alex Marvez ask Ruby Soho and Angelo Parker if they’re an “All Elite couple,” but Saraya and her brother show up, and her brother attacks Parker … so they clearly still aren’t OK with Ruby and Ang
  • Magnus def. Matt Sydal by pinfall, earning a spot in the All-Star Scramble at Revolution

AEW Rampage results 02/23/24: Roderick Strong ruins Jake Hager’s homecoming

A look at the results from the Feb. 23 episode of AEW Rampage.

Pro wrestling fans are in for a whirlwind of in-ring action over 12 hours from Friday night to early Saturday morning, with WWE SmackDown starting at 8 p.m. ET, AEW Rampage at 10 p.m. ET, and Elimination Chamber at 5 a.m. ET. It’s all the matches fans can handle, and the excitement continues with Collision returning to its regular Saturday evening timeslot, as well.

AEW’s first of two weekend shows showcases notable names in a high-flying three-way tag team match, your executive vice presidents in action, and a surprising main event matchup that no one saw coming just 48 hours ago. With that, let’s dive into the action.

  • Nicholas tells the referee they’ll fine him the next time he calls him “Nick”; Nicholas calls Tony Schiavone into the ring to “clear the air” from last week and they apologize; Matthew gifts Schiavone a $25 Amazon gift card and apologizes that they can’t remove Darby Allin and Sting’s blood stains out of their white suits; Matthew says they’ll pin Sting and retire him at Revolution
  • Tony Schiavone welcomes Sammy Guevara to the ring; Guevara says he has a mix of emotions from wrestling his childhood hero, Jeff Hardy, to Powerhouse Hobbs putting him through a table; Guevara challenges Hobbs, but Don Callis acknowledges Guevara and says he wanted him in the Don Callis Family; However, Callis calls Guevara weak; Hobbs attacks Guevara from behind and they fight in and out of the ring, leaving the latter man laying in the middle of the ring
  • Skye Blue says she deserved to defeat Willow Nightingale last week; Julia Hart says they’ll have their comeuppance against Nightingale, Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway
  • Mariah May def. Anna Jay by pinfall
  • Ruby Soho says her date with Angelo Parker went well; Parker calls it “incredible”; Soho says it’s weird Saraya wants her brother to hook up with her; Soho says Saraya actually needs her and she’s the sad one; Parker and Soho leave for another date
  • Roderick Strong def. Jake Hager by pinfall; Orange Cassidy comes to ringside mid-match to support Hager and takes out Matt Taven and Mike Bennett; Cassidy throws a bucket hat into the ring that Hager puts on, but Bennett and Taven cause a distraction that lets Strong take advantage and win

Queen Aminata in action, and the Bang Bang Scissor Gang making their in-ring debut, promising an eventful night.

What time is AEW Rampage on tonight, Feb. 16, 2024?

AEW Rampage has an earlier time tonight thanks to the NBA All-Star festivities.

There’s All-Star basketball action in the air this weekend, which is causing a shuffle to AEW’s TV schedule — one that means AEW Rampage will be on a few hours earlier than usual.

Rampage typically airs at 10 p.m. ET, generally after a movie (which has led to some fun tweets from Tony Khan over the years, as he’s usually fully aware of what film is the lead-in). If you tune in TNT tonight at that time, though, you’ll be treated to the NBA Rising Stars game instead, featuring some of the best rookies and second-year players.

As a results, Rampage will air at 7 p.m. ET, right before the All-Star Friday night festivities get underway. Can’t catch it then? TNT will also air an encore showing of Rampage at approximately 11:30 p.m. ET, after all the hoops is over.

That’s still better than AEW Collision, which got the boot from this weekend’s schedule altogether so TNT can broadcast the All-Star Saturday Night events, including the Starry 3-Point Contest and AT&T Slam Dunk.

Both Rampage and Collision return to their normal times next weekend, so this is just a one-time deal. Enjoy Rampage, or check back here for results after the first airing.
