After going through a 2021 season filled with a plethora of injuries, the Baltimore Ravens announced on Tuesday that they have hired Adrian Dixon as their new head certified athletic trainer.
Dixon spent the last six seasons with the Tennessee Titans as the team’s director of physical therapy and sports rehabilitation. He will now work with Ravens Chief Medical Officer Dr. Andy Tucker and start with the team’s staff on Wednesday.

In a statement released by Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta, he noted that Dixon possessed all the qualifications the team was looking for.
” We are excited to announce the addition of Adrian Dixon as our new Head Athletic Trainer,” DeCosta said in the statement. “Over the course of last month, after meeting with several qualified candidates, it became quite evident that Adrian possessed all the traits and skills necessary to help us become the best player wellness program in the National Football League. We were so impressed by Adrian’s servant leadership, his passion for the challenge, and his vision for our training room.”
DeCosta also said that Dixon will travel to Indianapolis next week to lead staff at the NFL Combine. The organization seems very excited as to what Dixon can bring to the table, and hopefully his addition will mean a less injured team for the Ravens in 2022 and beyond.
