In other Seahawks fashion news, rookie cornerback Tariq Woolen has changed his jersey number. The fifth-round pick from UTSA had been sporting No. 39, but he’s switching to No. 27.

The more aerodynamic and better-looking No. 27 was last worn by safety Marquise Blair, who was one of the most surprising roster cuts when Seattle went from 80 players down to 53 for the regular season.

The Seattle Seahawks have landed at No. 4 in USA TODAY Sports latest NFL uniform power rankings of 2020.

The coronavirus might be sweeping the globe but the NFL and teams around the league are doing everything they can to keep fans informed and interested ahead of what is sure to be a virtual offseason.

Over the last few weeks, a number of clubs have updated their looks with fresh new uniforms stylings. In light of the new fashion trend, Nate Davis of USA TODAY Sports took a look at all the changes before compiling his latest NFL uniform power rankings.

While the black and silver of the Las Vegas Raiders took the top spot, Seattle wasn’t far behind, landing at No. 4.

“The ‘College Navy’ and ‘Action Green’ reflect the Emerald City (in case you’ve never visited) as does the logo, a callback to a mask designed by Indians native to the Pacific Northwest (it also resembles birds seen on regional totems),” Davis writes.

“And, for my money, this 2012 uniform reboot has been Nike’s lone home run since becoming the NFL’s apparel provider,” Davis continues. “The matte helmet with feathers tapering down the middle and ’12’ elements to honor their fan base, including 12 feathers along each side of the pants and along the neckline, are sweet subtleties.”

Seahawks will wear Action Green jerseys and navy blue pants Monday

The Seattle Seahawks will wear their Action Green jerseys with navy blue pants against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football.

The Seattle Seahawks will wear their Action Green uniforms for the second time this season when they square off Week 13 against the Minnesota Vikings on “Monday Night Football.”

However, the team announced they will be wearing their navy blue pants with their jerseys as opposed to the typical matching Action Green bottoms.

Seattle enters one of the most crucial games of its season, as the Vikings are also fighting for a division title and have won six of their last seven games. All but one of the Seahawksโ€™ nine wins so far this year have been by one possession, so they must claim victory if they hope to steal the NFC West title from the 49ers, who face theย  Ravens on Sunday.

The Seahawks are 4-0 when wearing their Action Green uniforms and look to keep the undefeated streak alive on Monday night.
