With 4:30 left in Sunday’s Packers-Bears game, Aaron Rodgers rumbled for a six-yard touchdown run, putting the game away for his now 5-1 team against the 3-3 Bears in a 24-14 victory. We got the Rodgers run, and the Rodgers belt, and then, we got some unexpected smoke from Rodgers directed at the Bears’ fans at Soldier Field.
“I still own you”

As it turned out, Rodgers mixed a few expletives in with his trash talk.

Why would Rodgers say this? Well, to start, he does own the Bears throughout his career. With Rodgers as quarterback, the Packers have a 21-6 record over their NFC North opponents, the most wins the Packers have against any team in that time. And before Sunday’s game, Rodgers had completed 528 of 792 passes for 6,013 yards, 55 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, a quarterback rating of 107.2, and am Adjusted Yards per Attempt of 8.41. So, anyway you slice it, Rodgers has been a serious thorn in Chicago’s side for years.
Still, Rodgers needed a bit more incentive to throw that kind of smack, and it was evidently one Bears fan who gave it to him.

Rodgers completed 17 of 23 passes for 195 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions against the Bears this time around, with the rushing touchdown thrown in. And it was his decision to make his dominance known in the end.
