Texas A&M 2025 4-star RB commit Jamarion Morrow looks like a star in the making

2025 4-star RB and Texas A&M signee Jamarion Morrow has some De’Von Achane to his game

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is all wrapped up after Early Signing Day saw coach Mike Elko and his staff sign 25 prospects, including two former Missouri commits and the surprise signing of five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles.

While Myles and five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers stick out the most due to their high rankings, one of the biggest acquisitions that could produce immediate results is four-star running back Jamarion Morrow, one of the two Missouri flips alongside Rogers.

Needing depth and added versatility at running back next season, Morrow’s two-way playing history and impressive speed, quickness, and vision mirrors former Texas A&M star running back and current Miami Dolphins star De’Von Achane. Morrow’s footwork and ballerina-like feet make him a threat to score whenever he touches the ball.

Right now, incoming senior running back Amari Daniels alongside Reuben Owens are slated to return, while star running back Le’Veon Moss could opt to return if he doesn’t declare for the 2025 NFL Draft within the coming weeks.

Morrow joins 2025 four-star running back Deondrae “Tiger” Riden, as both players could have been used during the 2024 season after Moss’s season-ending injury.

Texas A&M flips 2025 4-star ATH out of Memphis (TN) from Missouri

2025 4-star running back/athlete Jamarion Morrow has flipped from Missouri to Texas A&M

Boom! Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko is putting the finishing touches on his first complete recruiting class in the 2025 cycle as Early Signing Day begins on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the Aggies flipped their second Missouri commit after landing 5-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers, as 4-star athlete/running back Jamarion Morrow followed suit just hours later.

Morrow’s connection with head coach Mike Elko and his staff has been brewing over the last few weeks. The Aggies need running back depth heading into next season after Le’Veon Moss’s season-ending injury basically ruined the offensive game plan during the latter half of the 2024 season.

During the bulk of his high school playing career, Morrow has been a two-way player. He accounted for over 1,200 all-purpose yards and 12 touchdowns while recording 24 tackles and four interceptions during his 2023 junior season.

Morrow will add immediate depth to a running back room likely featuring Amari Daniels, Reuben Owens, freshman Deondre “Tiger” Riden, and possibly Le’Veon Moss.

According to 247Sports, Morrow is currently positioned as the 28th-ranked athlete and the 15th-ranked prospect in Tennessee.

2025 4-star Jamarion Morrow should be visiting Texas A&M sooner than later

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class could see an influx of talent before National Signing Day on Wednesday, Dec. 4, as the recent news that 5-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers and Missouri commit is a favorite to flip to the Aggies, another Tigers could change his decision.

On Monday, it was revealed by 247Sports Missouri beat writer Sean Williams that 2025 4-star athlete/running back and Missouri commit Jamarion Morrow is planning on taking an official visit to Texas A&M sooner than later, possibly during the Aggies’ season-finale vs. Texas.

Morrow is well acquainted with the Aggie coaching staff after an official visit on June 7. The talented and highly versatile playmaker would add immediate depth to an Aggie running back room needing young talent to pair with likely returners Amari Daniels, Rueben Owens, and, possibly, Le’Veon Moss by the start of the 2025 season.

During the bulk of his high school playing career, Morrow has been a two-way player. He accounted for over 1,200 all-purpose yards and 12 touchdowns while recording 24 tackles and four interceptions during his 2023 junior season.

According to 247Sports, Morrow is currently positioned as the 32nd-ranked athlete and the 17th-ranked prospect in Tennessee.

Texas A&M will face Auburn on the road on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 6:30 pm. CT. The game will air on ESPN.
