2024 PGA Championship final-round odds, golfers to watch

Below, we look at BetMGM Sportsbook’s  2024 PGA Championship odds entering Sunday’s final round being played in Louisville. Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa are tied at 15-under-par 198 and will take a 1-stroke lead into Sunday’s final round at Valhalla Golf Club (7,609 yards, par 71). Schauffele is the No. 3 player in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings while Morikawa is No. 17.

Pre-tournament favorite Scottie Scheffler (+400 before the opening round) is tied for 24th place at 7-under after rounds of 67-66-73. The 73 on Saturday  ended Scheffler’s streak of 42 consecutive rounds of par or better.

Defending champion Brooks Koepka, who won at 9-under 271, is tied for 47th place at 4-under after shooting 67-68-74. He opened at +1400 to win.

Xander Schauffele (+260)

The 30-year-old pro, who opened at +1000, shot his 2nd straight 68 after his course-record 9-under 62 in the 1st round. Schauffele, who has 8 top-10 finishes in 12 starts, is looking for his 1st major title and 8th career tour title.

Collin Morikawa (+275)

The 27-year-old pro, who opened at +2800 to win, shot a 4-under 67 Saturday to go with a 66-65 and starts tied for the lead at 15-under-par 198. The 2-time major champion will try for his 7th career title and 2nd PGA Wannamaker Trophy.

Before the final group tees off at 2:35 p.m. ET (10 a.m.-1 p.m. ESPN; 1-7 p.m. CBS), here are 4 other players to watch as they try to chase down  Schauffele and Morikawa.

Sahith Theegala (+750): Golfweek’s No. 30 player starts in 3rd place, 1 shot back at 14-under after rounds of 65-67-67. He opened at +6600.

Shane Lowry (+1200): He starts tied for 4th place, 2 shots back at 13-under after a course-record 62 Saturday to go with a pair of 69’s. Golfweek’s No. 21 player opened at +8000.

Viktor Hovland (+800): Golfweek’s No. 5 player is also tied for 4th place after rounds of 68-66-66. He opened at +4000.

Bryson DeChambeau (+700): Also tied for 4th after rounds of 68-65-67. Golfweek’s No. 8 player opened at +2800.

2024 PGA Championship – Props update

Rory McIlroy (+160 to make top 5): Starts final round tied for 19th place at 8-under with rounds of 66-71-68.

Brooks Koepka (+150 to make top 10): Not likely with him in 47th place.

Corey Conners (+275 to make top 20): Starts final round tied for 38th place at 5-under with rounds of 70-71-67.
