Michigan State football receives crystal ball for 2024 4-star running back

MSU is trending for a 4-star running back in the 2024 recruiting class:

Michigan State landed a gem in the 2024 class this past June when they secured the commitment of Tampa (FL) running back Anthony ‘Scoota’ Carrie.

Carrie, a Carrollwood Day product, was committed to the Spartans for almost five months, before reopening the process due to the ongoing changes with Michigan State’s coaching staff.

Carrie was trending towards NC State, a school he visited in November, but now it appears that the recruitment could be coming full circle back in favor of the Spartans.

NC State 247Sports writer Michael Clark has logged a crystal ball pick in favor of Michigan State, changing it from NC State.

Michigan State football offers 2024 DL Lugard Edokpayi

A notable offer in the 2024 recruiting class was sent out by MSU:

Offers in the 2024 recruiting class this fall were going to be significant, meaning the Spartans were looking to add members to their current recruiting class. That was before turmoil with the Spartans coaching staff threw recruiting for a loop, but it is still notable to notice when a 2024 prospect gets an offer.

The notable 2024 offer has gone out to Lugard Edokpayi, a 3-star EDGE from District Heights, Maryland, attending Bishop McNamara High School. He is a 3-star prospect holding power five offers from 12 schools.
