Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is poised to grow exponentially over the next five months, as head coach Mike Elko and his staff are hard at work developing relationships and fielding offers to a litany of highly talented prospects in the cycle.
Last weekend, the 2025 offers continued to roll out hour by hour, most notably on defense, including several intriguing EDGE prospects that have a chance to thrive in Mike Elko and new D-coordinator Jay Bateman’s defensive scheme. Outside of the litany of four- and five-star prospects receiving offers, three-star EDGE Julius Holly is underrated.
While the recruiting process sometimes forgets about certain “under the radar” players, it provides an opening for programs like Texas A&M, which pay close attention to such untapped potential.
Hailing from Alpharetta, Georgia, Holly, who stands at 6 3.5 and weighs 211 pounds, is currently positioned as the 57th-ranked EDGE and the 66th-ranked player in Georgia (247Sports), coming off a successful 2023 junior season after recording 57 tackles, 8 sacks, and 3 passes breakups and 1 fumble recovery on the year.

While the total number of offers is slim, Holly has also received offers from Penn State and Vanderbilt.
