2023 Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl odds and best futures bets

Analyzing 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds for the Los Angeles Rams, including best bets for win total, conference and division titles.

A season after winning Super Bowl LVI, the Los Angeles Rams fell way short of expectations. They finished last season with a 5-12 record, 3rd in the NFC West. They dealt with countless injuries, losing key starters such as QB Matthew Stafford, DT Aaron Donald and WR Cooper Kupp in the 2nd half of the season.

The Rams didn’t get any better this offseason, either. They traded away CB Jalen Ramsey and WR Allen Robinson, and they also cut OLB Leonard Floyd and ILB Bobby Wagner. They added G Steve Avila with their top pick in the NFL draft, but they haven’t made any other notable roster additions this offseason. Their only newcomer outside of the draft is TE Hunter Long, who they acquired from the Dolphins in their trade for Ramsey.

Below, we look at the Los Angeles Rams’ 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds from FanDuel Sportsbook along with projected win total, playoff, conference and division odds as we make our best NFL picks and predictions.

Rams over/under win total

Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook – last updated May 17 at 12:30 p.m. ET; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list.

  • 6.5 wins: (Over: -102 | Under: -122)

Sean McVay has been the Rams’ coach for 6 seasons and last year was the 1st time he’s ever finished with fewer than 9 wins. He and the Rams faced extraordinary circumstances in 2022, becoming the 1st team in NFL history to start 11 different offensive line combinations in the 1st 11 weeks of the season.

Not to mention, they lost Donald, Stafford and Kupp in the 2nd half, as well as Robinson, S Jordan Fuller and CB Troy Hill at various times in the season, too. Even after losing the talent they did this offseason, the Rams are a solid bet to win more than 6.5 games. BET OVER 6.5 (-102).

Rams Super Bowl odds

  • +6000 (bet $100 to win $6,000)

Everyone is low on the Rams heading into the 2023 season, and understandably so. They won 5 games last season and on paper, they look like an even less talented team now after parting with Ramsey, Floyd, Wagner and Robinson.

Betting on them to have at least a little bit of success in the regular season is reasonable, but it’s really hard to see them winning the Super Bowl – even with Donald, Kupp and Stafford still in the mix. At +6000, they’re tied for the 10th-worst odds of any team in the NFL.

This isn’t a team in position to compete for a championship right now – not after purging their roster and strategically clearing cap space in 2024 at the cost of cap room this year. They’ll be in much better shape next year when they have money to spend and a 1st-round pick. PASS.

Will the Rams make the playoffs?

  • Yes +260 | No -340

The NFC doesn’t look all that daunting in 2023. There’s a pretty big drop-off from the top 3 of the Eagles, 49ers and Cowboys, which opens things up for the Rams to potentially sneak into the playoffs. Since the NFL expanded to 7 playoff teams in 2020, we’ve seen 6 teams sneak into the postseason as wild-card teams with 9 wins or fewer.

It might only take 8 or 9 wins for the final team to make the playoffs in the NFC, giving the Rams a shot if they can stay healthy. They’re worth a small wager at +260.

Odds to win NFC West Division

  • 49ers -175 (bet $175 to win $100)
  • Seahawks +260 (bet $100 to win $260)
  • Rams +650 (bet $100 to win $650)
  • Cardinals +2400 (bet $100 to win $2,400)

The 49ers are the clear and heavy favorites to win the NFC West despite not knowing who their starting quarterback will be in Week 1. The Seahawks have an outside chance to win the division, too, after bringing back QB Geno Smith as a free agent.

The Cardinals could be one of the worst teams in the NFL, so the Rams will help themselves if they can beat Arizona in their 2 regular-season matchups this year. Even still, the Rams’ schedule is tough and I don’t think they’ll be able to overcome the 49ers and Seahawks in the division. PASS.

Rams odds to win NFC

  • +3500 (bet $100 to win $3,500)

The NFC may be the weaker conference this season, but it’s not so weak that the Rams are going to reach the Super Bowl. Sure, they could make some noise in the playoffs when it’s win or go home, but they’ll still face some difficult matchups as what would likely be a Wild-Card team.

The Rams aren’t ready to contend just yet. PASS here.
