2023 Green Bay Packers Super Bowl odds with conference, division and win total best bets

Analyzing 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds for the Green Bay Packers, including best bets for win total, conference and division titles.

The Green Bay Packers had a franchise-altering offseason after going just 8-9 a season ago and missing the playoffs for the 1st time since 2018. Future Hall of Famer QB Aaron Rodgers was dealt to the New York Jets, so the time is now for QB Jordan Love, who has been waiting patiently in the wings since being drafted in the 1st round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

While the Rodgers deal dominated the news cycle, it was the defense which was bolstered during the offseason via free agency. The team re-signed LB Justin Hollins, added S Tarvarius Moore and brought back DB/KR Keisean Nixon. The latter led the NFL with 5 kickoff returns of 50 or more yards, and that was just since Week 12.

It’s a season of transition for the Packers, as Green Bay will be feeling the Love at Lambeau this season. He has played 10 NFL games, completing 60.2% of his pass attempts for 606 yards, 3 TD and 3 INT, and he hasn’t started a game since 2021. We’ll see if it was worth the wait.

The team added WR Jayden Reed in the 2nd round (50th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft, joining WRs Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson. And, of course, the dynamic duo of RBs Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon are back to ease the transition under center.

Below, we look at the Green Bay Packers’ 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds from FanDuel Sportsbook along with projected win total, playoff, conference and division odds as we make our best NFL picks and predictions.

Packers over/under win total

Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook – last updated May 18 at 11:35 p.m. ET; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list.

  • 7.5 wins: (Over: -122 | Under: +100)

The Packers might be one of the bigger unknowns in the NFL this season. The team won just 8 games in what turned out to be the final year with Rodgers under center.

As a result, Green Bay will play a 3rd-place schedule, but that’s not exactly a great thing. Some of the other 3rd-place teams the Pack will be facing are on the rise, including the Giants, who ended up going to the postseason last year.

In addition, the Pack will face the AFC West Division in the cross-conference matchups, and that’s absolutely brutal, while the 5th game against the AFC is a road game to Pittsburgh.

However, the Packers have some solid skill position players in place still, and the defense is above average. I just don’t see this as a team which will have double-digit losses. As such, OVER 7.5 WINS (-122) is a decent play, although I could easily see another 8-9 season with this tough sked.

Packers Super Bowl odds

  • +4000 (bet $100 to win $4,000)

The Packers have some rather short odds considering the loss of a future Hall of Famer, and the face of the franchise. In addition, the schedule is challenging.

There are much better long-shot risks on the board to win the Super Bowl from the middle of the odds board. Green Bay isn’t one of them.

At +4000, Green Bay has an implied probability of winning the Super Bowl of 2.44% or 40/1 fractional odds.

The Arizona Cardinals and Houston Texans have the longest odds at +18000.

I’d AVOID risking money on the Packers, as they transition to Love. There is going to be a lot of pressure on him to perform. And while I think the former Utah State standout is going to have a nice career, he has giant shoes to fill, and there will be a lot of nerves, and shaky play, as he knocks off the rust. He’ll eventually get his sea legs, and win some big games, but this isn’t a championship season.

Will the Packers make the playoffs?

  • Yes +160 | No -205

The Packers just missed the postseason on the final game of the regular season, and that was with Rodgers at the helm, obviously.

I’d actually like playing Yes, if there was a little more value. There just isn’t enough money here to take a flier on Love and the Packers. Conversely, there is too much risk and not enough reward to bet against Green Bay making the postseason, too, as you need to risk more than 2 times your potential return.

AVOID, and look to the Over/Under on win total instead for your best bet.

Odds to win NFC North Division

  • Lions +145 (bet $100 to win $145)
  • Vikings +310 (bet $100 to win $310)
  • Bears +350 (bet $100 to win $350)
  • Packers +350 (bet $100 to win $350)

It’s been since the days of Lynn Dickey or Don Majkowski, or perhaps Randy Wright, since we saw the Packers picked to finish last in the NFC North. Well, technically, they share the longest odds in the division with the rival Bears.

I think the Lions can have a very good season, but should they be the favorites in the division? I don’t know, man. They’re still the Lions. And the Vikings might be the best value on the board for a chance to more than triple up. But I’ll tell you, I trust the Packers way more than the Bears, and Green Bay is a solid wager for a chance to multiply your initial wager by 3 1/2 times.

At this price tag, I’d tie a little bit of loot up into the Packers. The NFC North is wide open, and it might only take a 10-7 record to win the division, and Green Bay is certainly capable of that as long as the skill position players can stay healthy, and Love doesn’t make a lot of miscues.

I’d go lightly on PACKERS +350, as they’re a good value.

Packers odds to win NFC

  • +1800 (bet $100 to win $1,800)

Green Bay is, well, middle of the Pack to win the NFC Championship Game and represent the conference at Super Bowl 57. It’s not going to happen.

While I can totally envision the Packers sneaking into the NFC North Division title, I can’t see them winning 3 games in the playoffs, which is what it will likely take, for Green Bay to go to Vegas for the big game. Love could actually pan out, and the team could top out with 10 wins. But this isn’t a Super Bowl caliber team. PASS.
