NFL draft analyst predicts Will Anderson first overall, Bryce Young NFL comp

These Alabama stars are already drawing heavy interest from the NFL!

Even though the 2022 season hasn’t even kicked off yet, it is never too early to get excited about the next NFL draft. ESPN NFL draft analyst and insider, Matt Miller, has released his first mock draft for 2023.

Miller has three Crimson Tide players going in the top ten as well as five quarterbacks. Miller currently has [autotag]Will Anderson[/autotag] going No. 1 overall to the New York Jets, [autotag]Eli Ricks[/autotag] going No. 4 overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars and [autotag]Bryce Young[/autotag] going No. 7 overall to the Carolina Panthers.

Anderson is a world-class talent who will surely be the first non-QB selected in this class even if he doesn’t get selected first overall. Miller compares him to the Buffalo Bills‘ Von Miller and goes on to say, “Anderson is not of this earth.” Ricks should also be a very clear CB1 in the class and will hear his name taken off the board quickly.

Miller goes on to say that his professional comp for Young is Kyler Murray. Both are considered undersized for the position, Murray is listed at 5’10 while Young is 5’11. Miller compares them both to point guards and says that they both do a great job distributing the ball with touch and anticipation.

How do you think things will sort out?
