Here are three takeaways from the Brooklyn Nets’ 2023-24 schedule.

The Brooklyn Nets schedule for the 2023-24 season has now been released and like every season, there are certain things to take away from their regular-season slate. This season will be something different from what Nets fans are used to because of the team not having championship expectations for the first time in a few seasons.

Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden are no longer in Brooklyn and while the core of the team now, Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, and Nic Claxton, are formidable, it’s clear that the Nets do not have superstars anymore, at least at this current time.

Thursday is the day that Brooklyn Nets fans will know the full schedule for the team and the anticipation has been building for some time now. There have been leaks over the past week or so about when certain primtetime games will be played seemingly in an effort to tease NBA fans.

On Tuesday, the schedule for the first-ever NBA in-season tournament was announced to add more intrigue to the upcoming season. Recently, the NBA’s PR announced on social media that the rest of the 2023-24 schedule will be released on national TV for all of the world to see.

The schedule reveal will be on ESPN’s NBA Today television show at 3pm EDT. So far, it is known that the Nets will not be playing on Christmas and now, because of the in-season tournament, their regular-season games against the Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, and Toronto Raptors will carry more importance than the typical game.
