2022 Philadelphia Eagles’ win total, Super Bowl, conference and division odds

Analyzing 2022 NFL futures for the Philadelphia Eagles, including odds for win total, Super Bowl and division with expert picks.

The Philadelphia Eagles didn’t make a lot of moves in the offseason, but the ones they did were impactful and the team looks to get back to the form that brought them to the Super Bowl 5 years ago and to the playoffs 3 of the 4 years since.

Below, we look at the Phildelphia Eagles 2022 NFL futures odds – including win total, division, conference and Super Bowl odds at Tipico Sportsbook – with best bet suggestions among our NFL picks and predictions.

In the offseason the team made huge splash moves that included $86 million in guaranteed money to 2 players. First, they traded for WR A.J. Brown and backed it up with a $25 million a year contract. On defense, they ponied up $15 million a year to land edge rusher Haason Reddick. The Eagles allowed some depth pieces to go, especially on defense, but they instantly made both sides of the ball better in the offseason market.

The Eagles traded a 1st-round pick for Brown and made another trade to get New Orleans’ 1st-rounder next year, but addressed both sides of the ball in the trenches in the draft. Somehow Georgia DT Jordan Davis fell to them at No. 13 and, in the 2nd round they drafted center Jason Kelce‘s eventual replacement Cameron Jurgens. They won’t sell a ton of jerseys, but they are expected to be foundation pieces for years to come.

Philadelphia Eagles’ 2022 win total: Best bet

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Tuesday, May 17 at 10:41 a.m. ET.

Over/Under: 8.5 (O: -160 | U: +130)

While they have been far from dominant since winning the Super Bowl, in the 4 years since then, the Eagles have won 9 games 3 times and made the playoffs in each of those years.

The Eagles are a classic case of a franchise that is a perennial playoff contender and, with an additional game, finishing with 9 wins is expected, not crossing fingers over.

This Eagles team is capable of 10 wins if QB Jalen Hurts doesn’t lose games for them. Teams that can’t stop the run suffer against the Eagles and their pressure defense makes big plays.

TAKE THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES AND THE OVER (-160)

Philadelphia Eagles’ 2022 Super Bowl odds

Odds: +3000 (bet $100 to win $3,000)

Being good enough to make the playoffs and being good enough to run the table are 2 very different things. While Philadelphia has made the playoffs 4 of the last 5 years, they have made hasty exits in each of the last 3.

They got 30:1 odds for a reason to take down the Lombardi Trophy again. Philly may be a fun team to watch this year with its aggressive push to get back in the conversation for another title, but until Hurts steps up a lot bigger than he has, that’s a pipe dream. PASS.

Philadelphia Eagles’ 2022 playoff odds

Will Eagles make the playoffs: Yes -110 | No -110

It has only taken 9 wins for the Eagles to make the playoffs 3 times, including the NFL’s first 17-game season — which speaks to the disparity of talent in the NFC. Not only are they the only competition for the Cowboys in the NFC East to earn a spot in the playoffs, they play 2 of the teams widely speculated as being in the thick of the wild-card chase — Minnesota and New Orleans — at home.

As you can tell by this bet, the oddsmakers see the Eagles as a 9-8 team at best. That made the playoffs for them last year and they’re more talented this season with a very favorable schedule that includes the NFC North and AFC South — arguably the 2 weakest top-to-bottom divisions in the NFL.

TAKE THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS (-110)

Odds to win NFC East Division

  • Dallas Cowboys -105 (bet $105 to win $100)
  • New York Giants +750 (bet $100 to win $750)
  • Philadelphia Eagles +230 (bet $100 to win $230)
  • Washington Commanders +450 (bet $100 to win $450)

Getting better than 2:1 odds in a 2-team division race looks tempting, but the Cowboys get essentially the same cushy schedule as the Eagles and have a deeper roster and a better quarterback.

I’d be willing to accept a small wager getting more the double back if you’re right, but something tells me the Cowboys will win double-digit games and 10 is the high-water mark for the Eagles. PASS.

Odds to win NFC

Odds: +1300 (bet $100 to win $1300)

It should be noted that there is a demarcation line between the 5 betting odds favorites — the Buccaneers, Rams, Packers, 49ers and Cowboys — and that once you get past them, guess who is tied for the next spot? The Eagles (along with the Cardinals) at +1300.

That is a little strange in that the team is projected to be 9-8 or 8-9. But the reality is that they have the swagger to be a playoff team and do some damage if they get there. However, it will likely come on the road and winning 3 buzz-saw games against elite veteran-laden teams will be a tall tree to climb. PASS.
