On Friday, the Miami Dolphins finalized their coaching staff under new head coach Mike McDaniel that features some experienced veterans and some younger coaches getting one of their first opportunities.
Most of these hirings were known from reports over the last couple of weeks, but there are some surprises, including the fact that former offensive line coach Lemuel Jeanpierre is being kept on the staff as assistant offensive line coach under Matt Applebaum.
One of the knocks against former head coach Brian Flores was that he wasn’t able to put a solid staff around him, so McDaniel will do his best to build a unit that can collaborate together and win football games.
