2022 3M Open final-round odds, golfers to watch

The 2022 3M Open may be lacking for big names, but not for quality golf. Three rounds are in the book and 10 golfers are at 10-under-par or better. Below, we look at the 2022 3M Open odds entering Sunday’s final round of the 4th tournament being played in Blaine, Minn. Scott Piercy, who opened at +10000 to win, shot a 5-under 66 at rain-soaked TPC Twin Cities on Saturday in a round that was delayed more than 6 1/2 hours to take a 4-stroke lead at 18-under 195 on the course (7,431 yards, par 71). Piercy is the No. 208 player in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings.

Pre-tournament favorite Tony Fina (+1200 before the opening round) is tied for 3rd at 13-under. Defending champion Cameron Champ, who won last year at 15-under 269, is tied for 41st at 3-under after rounds of 75-68-67.

It’s the 6th time the 43-year-old pro has held at least a share of the 54-hole lead, and he’s won 2 of those events. Piercy, who will try for his 5th career title and first since 2018, take s 4-shot lead into the final round after rounds of 65-64-66.

Emiliano Grillo (+500)

The 29-year-old pro from Argentina will need to make up some ground to win his 2nd tour title. He fired a 67 Saturday, which included an eagle on the par-5 6th hole for the 2nd straight day, to go with rounds of 67-65 for 14-under 199.  The No. 222-ranked player opened at +5000 too win.

Doug Ghim (+900)

The 26-year-old Illinois native starts 5 shots back in his quest for his 1st tour title at 13-under after rounds of 67-68-65. The 175th-ranked Ghim opened at +9000 to win.

Before the final group tees off at 12:35 p.m. ET, here are 2 other players to watch as they try to chase down the leader.

Tony Finau (+500): The pre-tournament favorite starts at 13-under after rounds of 67-68-65. He’s the 32nd-ranked player in Sagarin’s rankings.

Tom Hoge (+2000): He’ll start 6 shots back at 12-under 201 after rounds of 67-68-66. The 130th-ranked Hoge opened at +9000.

2022 Open Championship – Props update
