A field of 156 is at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California, this week for the 121st US Open. It’s the second US Open to be held at Torrey Pines; the first being Tiger Woods’ victory in 2008. On this page, we present our betting guide for the 2021 US Open, with PGA Tour odds and betting options, as well as a course breakdown and the key stats you need to know.
Woods isn’t participating this year as he continues to recover from a car accident in February. Jon Rahm, who’s No. 1 in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings, has been cleared after being forced to withdraw from the Memorial Tournament due to a positive test for COVID-19.
Bryson DeChambeau looks to defend his 2020 US Open title at Winged Foot Golf Club. Phil Mickelson will try once again to capture the career grand slam after winning his second PGA Championship four weeks ago.

2021 US Open: Betting options
US Open futures have been available on BetMGM since DeChambeau’s win at Winged Foot last fall. They’ve been updated routinely based on weekly results and injury news.
Early this week additional options will be made available. These include tournament placings, group and matchup betting, and round-by-round leaders. Tournament props will be released for things like whether or not there will be a hole-in-one or if the event will be decided by a playoff.
Shortly after the 2021 winner is crowned futures odds for the 2022 US Open will be posted.
The course: Torrey Pines (South)
While this is just the second US Open being played at Torrey Pines, it also hosts the Farmers Insurance Open every January. Unlike the Farmers, the US Open will be played exclusively on Torrey Pines’ South Course. The course is the longer of the two and plays to 7,652 yards at a par of 71.
The putting surfaces are a mix of Bentgrass and Poa Annua. More than 50 sand bunkers cover the course as the primary hazard. In addition, expect the traditional US Open conditions of long, thick rough, as well as firm and fast greens.
