The Philadelphia 76ers might look a little different heading into next season as they welcome in the Doc Rivers era after seven seasons with Brett Brown at the helm. The team did not come anywhere near their expectations during the season and it has everybody a little down on the team.
The team still is very talented led by Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, but there is a lot of questions about whether the duo can win a title in this league despite the obvious success they have had on the floor.
As the 2019-20 season has finally come to a close following the Los Angeles Lakers winning their 17th NBA title on Sunday night, the attention now turns to the 2020-21 season. Whenever next season begins, eyes will be on the top competition and the odds for next season’s title winner have come to light with Philadelphia having the 12th best odds at 34/1.

For the Sixers to have a real shot at winning a title in 2021, they will need more help from the other pieces around Simmons and Embiid and the team could use more shooters. On top of that, it will be up to Rivers to hold his team accountable and get the most out of a very talented, yet awkward, roster. [lawrence-related id=38283,38285,38281]
