Name: T.D. Moultry

Number: 99

Position: Edge

Class: Senior

Height: 6’2”

Weight: 253 lbs

Hometown: Birmingham, Alabama

High School: Jackson-Olin

2020 Statistics: 9 tackles, 3 solo, 1 sack, 1.0 TFL.

Twitter: @humble55_

Overview: Moultry is back for his super senior season and looking to close his Auburn career with his best season. That won’t be easy as he will be challenged by Dylan Brooks, Eku Leota, and Romello Height.

If Moultry can get off to a fast start in fall practices, then he will have a chance to cement himself as a primary edge option and become the type of player who can take Auburn’s defense up a level. On paper, the new defensive scheme benefits his skill set and a strong season could help Moultry make it to the NFL.

2020 Statistics: N/A

Overview: Kelly played both tight end and defensive end for Montgomery Academy and brings versatility as a walk-on. He turned down scholarship offers from Samford and Kennesaw State to become a walk-on at Auburn. Kelly and his teammate Thomas Kirkham are the latest players to walk on from Montgomery Academy, following linebacker Barton Lester and Trey Lindsey who both joined the Tigers in 2019. Kelly has his work cut out for him as the tight end is full of talented players.

2021 Auburn football player profile, overview: No. 93 Daniel Foster-Allen

Daniel Foster-Allen is a player to watch for the future along the defensive line.

Name: Daniel Foster-Allen

Number: 93

Position: Defensive End

Class: Redshirt Freshman

Height: 6’4”

Weight: 258 lbs

Hometown: Mobile, Alabama

High School: St. Paul’s

2020 Statistics: Did not see any game action.

Twitter: N/A

Overview: Foster-Allen is an explosive athlete coming off of the edge, but he needs to continue to spend time in a collegiate strength program to fill out his 6-foot-4 frame. As he fills out that frame, he could become capable of playing along the interior of the line as well as the edge. He will be competing with several other talented players for snaps in 2021 but he is an underclassmen to watch for seasons to come.

2021 Auburn football player profile, overview: No. 80 Ze’Vian Capers

How many touchdowns do you think Ze’Vian Capers will score this season?

Name: Ze’Vian Capers

Number: 80

Position: Wide Receiver

Class: Sophomore

Height: 6’4”

Weight: 195 lbs

Hometown: Alpharetta, Georgia

High School: Denmark

2020 Statistics: 7 receptions, 77 yards, 1 touchdown

Twitter: @_ZeVianCapers

Overview: Capers was one of the players to watch in spring practice as he recovered from surgery on his left foot. Auburn’s staff was understandably cautious with him, holding him out of scrimmages or full practices. He is expected to be a full go in fall camp as he will attempt to become Auburn’s top receiver as just a sophomore. Capers looked best playing split end but he has experience at big slot, providing several options when he is on the field.

2021 Auburn football player profile, overview: No. 77 Kilian Zierer

Can Kilian Zierer compete for a starting job?

Name: Kilian Zierer

Number: 77

Position: Left Tackle

Class: Junior

Height: 6’7”

Weight: 298 lbs

Hometown: Munich, Germany

High School: N/A

2020 Statistics: Did not see any game action

Twitter: @Kili24_

Overview: Zierer had a nightmare 2020, the former top ranked JUCO offensive tackles was rehabbing a torn ACL when the pandemic hit, and the German tackle was stranded far from home. He did not see the field last season but with injury hopefully behind him he has the ability to become a wild card in the offensive line rotation. Auburn’s offensive line needs to play at a higher level and Zierer has the frame (6’7”) and footwork that coaches covet as a starting tackle.

2021 Auburn football player profile, overview: No. 52 Nick Brahms

Can Nick Brahms lead this offensive line in 2021?

Name: Nick Brahms

Number: 52

Position: Offensive Line

Class: Senior

Height: 6’4”

Weight: 302 lbs

Hometown: Navarre, Florida

High School: Navarre

2020 Statistics: Started 11 games at center

Twitter: @Nick_Brahms

Overview: Brahms is the most experienced offensive lineman the Tigers have after starting every game at center a season ago. Offensive line coach Will Friend spoke positively about his ability to communicate during the spring practices and he looks to be the anchor the staff will try to build the rest of the offensive line around. If the progress he made in the spring can translate to the field, then the offensive line and the entire offense will be in a better spot for the upcoming season.

2021 Auburn football player profile, overview: No. 44 Jay Sharp

Jay Sharp has work to do to earn playing time for Auburn in 2021.

Name: Jay Sharp

Number: 44

Position: Running back

Class: Redshirt freshman

Height: 5’8”

Weight: 164 lbs

Hometown: Birmingham, Alabama

High School: Pinson Valley

2020 Statistics: N/A

Twitter: @j2sharpp

Overview: Sharp walked on last season and did not appear in a game. With Auburns running back room down to just three scholarship players in Tank Bigsby, Shaun Shivers and Jarquez Hunter, Sharp has emerged as the team’s fourth running back and has been important for the Tigers in practice.

2021 Auburn football player profile, overview: No. 41 Aidan Marshall

Aidan Marshall will once again be responsible for Auburn’s punting in 2021.

Name: Aidan Marshall

Number: 41

Position: Punter

Class: Senior

Height: 6’0”

Weight: 213 lbs

Hometown: Winchester, Virginia

High School: John Handlet

2020 Statistics: 16 punts for 676 yards, 42.3 yard average, 1 touch back, 4 fair catches

Twitter: N/A

Overview: Marshall returned to the team after leaving the team for nearly two years and split time with Oscar Chapman at punter. Both players will be back and the two will likely share time again. If the new coaching staff would rather stick with one punter Chapman does have more experience and averaged slightly more yards per punt last season (42.3 to 41).

2021 Auburn Football Player Profile, Overview: No. 40 Landen King

Landen King could be a major factor at the tight end position in the near future.

Name: Landen King

Number: 40

Position: Tight end

Class: Freshman

Height: 6’5”

Weight: 214 lbs.

Hometown: Beaumont, Texas

High School: Atascocita

Twitter: @Landen_King3

Overview:

A talented tight end that also played H-back in high school, the three-star signee out of Beaumont, Texas will have plenty of chances to work his way up a crowded depth chart at his position. King brings a pedigree of being able to get open and, with good hands, be a reliable target for the quarterback. With the use of the tight end hopefully becoming a thing in Mike Bobo’s offense, he could be a major weapon in the near future.
