2021 prospect KaTron Evans committed to Tennessee on May 9.
Evans is a 6-foot-4, 320-pound defensive lineman from Baltimore, Maryland. He is a senior at St. Frances Academy.
Evans took to Twitter and mentioned he is “blessed to receive an offer” from Jackson State and head coach Deion Sanders.

Sanders, a two-time Super Bowl champion and Pro and College Football Hall of Famer, was named Jackson State’s head coach in September.
The newly-hired Jackson State head coach served as offensive coordinator during the early part of the 2020 high school season at Trinity Christian in Cedar Hill, Texas.
Former Tennessee linebacker Nyles Gaddy also announced his transfer destination to Jackson State and an opportunity playing for Sanders.
