The 2021 Notre Dame football recruiting class took a hit Friday when one of the nation’s top receivers in the class, Deion Colzie de-committed from the program. It won’t fill the receiver hole but the Fighting Irish did add a preferred walk-on to their 2020 recruiting class over the weekend.
The monstrous Charlie Slena of Atherton, California announced that he will be attending Notre Dame in the fall as a preferred walk-on.
After a great football and basketball season with my teammates, I’m excited to announce that I will be attending and playing football as a preferred walk on at the University of Notre Dame! Thank you @dpeloqu1 and @NDFootball for this opportunity. ☘️☘️ pic.twitter.com/nR5O0sBrRr
