It is a fresh new era in the history of the Philadelphia 76ers. After a season that was unacceptable in the grand scheme of things, the team made some big changes in the offseason to not only their roster, but also in the front office and at the head coaching position.
The 2020-21season is set to begin on Dec. 22, but in order to prepare for the grind of the upcoming 72-game season, there also needs to be a preseason.
The NBA announced the preseason schedule on Friday and for Joel Embiid and the Sixers, they will have two games before the season begins.
The first on will come on Dec. 15 at home against the Boston Celtics and the second and final one will come on the road against the Indiana Pacers on Dec. 18. The games will tip-off at 7:00 EST and 6:00 EST, respectively.

For the Sixers, they will face the Celtics for the first time since being swept in Round 1 of the playoffs back in August. That disappointing playoff result brought in a lot of changes that the franchise believes can turn them around. [lawrence-related id=39572,39569,39554]
