The 2020-21 NBA All-Star Game will be played Sunday at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Tip-off is scheduled for shortly after 8 p.m. ET between Team LeBron and Team Durant. Below, we analyze the 2020-21 NBA All-Star Game odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
The All-Star Game will follow the same format as first seen last season. The two teams captained by Los Angeles Lakers SF LeBron James and Brooklyn Nets SF Kevin Durant will compete to win each of the first three quarters individually. The fourth quarter will be played without a game clock with the teams then needing to reach the Final Target Score.
The first team to hit or surpass that target number will win the All-Star Game.
Durant is replacing Milwaukee Bucks SF Giannis Antetokounmpo as captain opposite James this season. Team LeBron won last year’s All-Star Game.

Money line (ML)
When betting an NBA All-Star Game, or any sort of exhibition in pro sports, it’s best to chase the value. Back TEAM DURANT (+140) to pull off the modest upset.
Even though they’re without their captain, as well as Phoenix Suns SG Devin Booker and Los Angeles Lakers PF Anthony Davis, expect a spirited effort from the underdogs. James has been vocal about his displeasure in the NBA holding the annual skills competition this year and always comes into these games with a target on his back.
We’re unlikely to see a full effort from many players in this game, and that opens the door for an “upset”.

Against the spread (ATS)
Last year’s All-Star Game ended 157-155 in favor of Team LeBron. These games are designed to stay close, and a similar result is likely in Year 2 of the modified format.
Liking TEAM DURANT +3.5 (-105) to win outright, back the underdogs with 3 points of insurance in the event of a loss.
Over/Under (O/U)
There were 317 total points scored in last year’s All-Star Game, and the 2020-21 total is set a few points shy of that number.
With James and other stars, including Leonard, admitting their disinterest in this year’s game, bet UNDER 314.5 (-110) with players just looking to get back to meaningful games.
