In what is shaping up to be an exciting 2024 rendition of the ‘Battle of Pennsylvania,’ the Pittsburgh Steelers head to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in Week 15.
Fans of the Black and Gold are understandably nervous about the matchup, as key injuries to elite Steelers players make facing the 11-2 Eagles even more daunting. However, one more terrifying aspect of the matchup is becoming the topic of conversation: the Steelers haven’t defeated the Eagles in Philadelphia since 1965.
Some may call this a streak of misfortune, or simply being unable to handle the crazed Philadelphia crowd, while others may consider this 60-year winless drought a curse.
The last time the Steelers beat the Eagles in Philadelphia was October 24, 1965. 🤯

The last five losses in Philadelphia have been disastrous for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as the Eagles outscored the Steel City 130-56 in those five matchups combined.
However, those matchups never included Steelers QB Russell Wilson, AKA ‘Mr. Unlimited,’ who is currently undefeated against the Eagles with a perfect 5-0 record. With this in mind, one thing remains certain: Let Russ cook!
