Boston Celtics two-way rookies Tacko Fall and Tremont Waters are both on the active roster Thursday night against the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Jared Weiss of The Athletic.

Fall has spent the majority of the season in the G League with the Maine Red Claws but hasn’t played since Nov. 25 against the Memphis Hustle after sustaining a bone bruise on his right knee. He has been with the Celtics rehabbing since suffering the injury and is apparently ready to return to the court.

Fall set the Red Claws franchise record against the Hustle after hauling in 14 offensive rebounds, topping the previous team record of 12. In six G League games, Fall is averaging 15 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks. He ranks 10th in rebounds and sixth in blocks.

Meanwhile, Waters was named the G League Player of the Month after averaging 22.3 points, 7.7 assists, three rebounds and 1.7 steals in six November games. He recently recorded his third straight double-double with the Red Claws on Saturday, tallying 18 points and 11 assists.

Fall first made his official Celtics debut on Oct. 26 against the New York Knicks. In three minutes, the 7-foot-5 center recorded four points and three rebounds in mop-up duty.

Waters recently debuted with the Celtics on Nov. 25 with Kemba Walker sidelined due to a neck injury. The second-round pick recorded seven points, three assists, two rebounds and two blocks in 20 minutes of work.
