Boston Celtics two-way rookie center Tacko Fall set the Maine Red Claws franchise record for most offensive rebounds in a single game on Monday night in a 119-96 loss to the Memphis Hustle.
The 7-foot-5 center finished with 16 points, 18 rebounds and one blocked shot in 22 minutes off of the bench. He recorded 14 rebounds on the offensive end of the floor, topping the previous franchise record of 12 set by Chris Wright and James Mays in 2013.
His 14 offensive boards are the most by a player this season in the G League while his 18 total rebounds finished five off the franchise record of 23 done twice by Devin Williams, most recently on Jan. 23, 2018. Fall shattered his previous season-high of five offensive rebounds on Monday.

Thanks to Fall’s monster performance on the offensive glass, the Red Claws outscored the Hustle 31-15 in second-chance points but, unfortunately, his effort didn’t amount to a win as Maine lost for the first time this season.
After his outing on Monday, Fall is now averaging 15 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks in six games this season for the Red Claws while he is shooting 70% from the field.
The Red Claws return to action on Wednesday against the Greensboro Swarm.
