Boston Celtics two-way rookie Tacko Fall recorded 13 points and five rebounds for the Maine Red Claws Friday night in a 127-121 win over the Iowa Wolves in the G League.
The game for Fall marked his first since suffering a bone bruise on his right knee on Nov. 25 against the Memphis Hustle. Fall returned to Boston to receive treatment following the injury as the 7-foot-5 center was recently cleared for basketball activities.
Fall was on the active roster for the Celtics on Wednesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers prior to re-joining the Red Claws but did not play in the contest.

Fall finished by shooting 5-of-8 from the field on Friday while he also blocked two shots in the contest. His 14 minutes played were a season-low as the organization likely wanted to ease Fall back into the mix after missing nearly three weeks of action.
In seven G League games, Fall is averaging 14.7 points, 10 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 1.3 assists for the Red Claws.
The Red Claws return to action on Sunday against the Grand Rapids Drive.
