Boston Celtics two-way rookie Tacko Fall remains among the frontcourt leaders in the third fan returns of NBA All-Star voting released on Thursday afternoon.
Fall picked up over 200,000 fan votes in the third returns to stay at sixth in the Eastern Conference frontcourt voting. Fall topped notable players like Bam Adebayo, teammate Gordon Hayward and Domantas Sabonis among others.
The 7-foot-5 center has spent the majority of the season in the G League with the Maine Red Claws and has just four appearances in the NBA with the Celtics this season. Fall recently logged a season-high 10 minutes against the San Antonio Spurs, recording four points and three rebounds.

Voting for the All-Star Game opened up on Christmas Day while it will run through Monday. Fans account for 50% of the vote to determine the 10 starters for the game, which will take place in Chicago on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
All current NBA players and a media panel each account for 25% of the vote, with every voter completing one full ballot featuring two guards and three frontcourt players from each conference. The starters will be announced on Thursday, Jan. 23.
Since the first fan returns were released, some have denounced the voting system with Fall placing ahead of players more deserving of an All-Star berth. Celtics head coach Brad Stevens took exception with the voting while Adebayo, who is behind Fall, doesn’t have a problem with it.
Since joining the Celtics, Fall has become one of the most popular players in the NBA due to his size and skillset on the court. Fall has often drawn standing ovations in arenas and has even garnered “M-V-P” chants in Boston.
Fall is averaging 13.6 points, 10.2 rebounds and three blocks in 14 games played in the G League.
