Tacko Fall matched a career-high in points, rebounds on Sunday

The 7-foot-5 center turned in a career performance on Sunday in the G League with the Maine Red Claws in a win over the Skyhawks.

Boston Celtics two-way rookie Tacko Fall tied a career-high on Sunday afternoon with 21 points and 18 rebounds for the Maine Red Claws in the G League.

The 7-foot-5 center finished by shooting 9-of-12 from the field while he also blocked two shots in 28 minutes of work off of the bench during the 115-91 win over the College Park Skyhawks.

Fall previously set a career-high in scoring on Nov. 17 when he recorded 21 points against the Raptors 905 while he set a career-high in rebounds on Nov. 25 against the Memphis Hustle with 18.

The Skyhawks forced Fall to earn his points throughout the game by fouling him immediately in the paint. As a result, Fall attempted six free throws but struggled from the line after converting just two shots.

Though Fall missed some free throws, the rookie was dominant once again near the basket as the Skyhawks did not have an answer for him. He converted on a number of lobs and putbacks en route to his career game.

After his performance on Sunday, Fall is now averaging 14.2 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.7 blocks in 10 games played. He is fourth in the G League in blocks and 13th in rebounds.

Next up for the Red Claws: A home matchup Tuesday against the Delaware Blue Coats.
