Tacko Fall has monster game for Red Claws with 18 points and 16 boards

Boston Celtics two way big man Tacko Fall had a monster double-double against the Capital City Go-Go Tuesday, lifting the Maine Red Claws to a 125-93 win.

Whatever was ailing Tacko Fall on Sunday, it didn’t last long — the Boston Celtics two way center scored 18 points and 16 rebounds for the Maine Red Claws on Feb. 25.

On assignment with Boston’s G League affiliate, Fall bounced back from a game he lasted just minutes in two days earlier to have one of his strongest performances of the season.

The Senegalese center would also record five blocked shots in the 125-93 win over the Capital City Go-Go, the developmental affiliate of the Washington Wizards.

Fall’s two way teammate Tremont Waters had an excellent outing as well, putting up 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting alongside 4 assists — and a filthy crossover captured on video by Carolina Panthers linebacker Jermaine Carter Jr., reports Rookie Wire’s Cody Taylor.

The Red Claws improved to 27-10 with the win, with the second-best record in the G League behind only the 28-9 Wisconsin Herd.

The Claws next face the Lakeland Magic on Thursday, Feb. 27th at 7pm ET, and the game will be broadcast by NBC Sports Boston and ESPN+.
