While Boston Celtics two way center hasn’t been getting much floor time with the parent club lately, he’s still tearing it up with the Maine Red Claws in the G League.
Though his most recent stat line came in a 116-106 loss to the Westchester Knicks, the developmental affiliate of the New York team of the same name, the Senegalese center went an unblemished 6-of-6 from the floor to log 12 points, 6 rebounds and four blocks in the contest.
Teammate Tremont Waters — also a two way player for Boston at the point guard position — had a bit of an off night compared to his usual eye-popping performances in the G League.
Going 0-for-9 from deep and 4-of-17 overall, he only scored 12 points, but dished out 9 assists to make up for it.
Fall was recalled by the Celtics to assist in bolstering the team’s shaky frontcourt rotation with both Robert Williams III (hip) and Enes Kanter (knee) out against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Meanwhile, Waters will likely remain with the Red Claws despite starting point guard Kemba Walker’s absence vs. Philly as well, as no news of his recall has yet to be shared.
The Red Claws next face the Greensboro Swarm — the Charlotte Hornets G League affiliate — at home tonight, at 7pm ET.
