Dabo Swinney and the Tigers have a huge matchup against Notre Dame on Saturday, with Clemson dealing with multiple injuries heading into Week 10.
Swinney updated the injury status of multiple Tigers Wednesday night, including star running back Will Shipley who suffered a concussion against NC State. There is still not decision on whether Shipley will be good to go against the Fighting Irish.
“He has made some good progress…definitely still day-to-day,” Swinney said. “Medical people gotta say he’s good to go…they have protocols in place and metrics and they’ve got all kinds of stuff that you have to go through to be cleared back to play so that’s where he is.”
Shipley has been the Tigers top running back this season, recording 112 carries for 515 yards and three touchdowns. If he can’t go Saturday, expect a heavy workload for Phil Mafah.
