The Chiefs had 29 starting quarterbacks between Len Dawson and Patrick Mahomes, none taking them to the Super Bowl.

Alex Smith was a No. 1 overall pick of the 49ers. He then landed in KC in 2014 and spent five years with the Chiefs. He had a great starting  mark of 50-26, throwing for 17,608 yards with 102 TD passes against 33 picks.
