Within minutes of the Kansas City Chiefs victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship game, betting markets were already seeing a flood of action on a Super Bowl LVII that will pit Patrick Mahomes against Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles.
While books initially struggled to set the line, big bettors had little issue picking a side.
According to Max Meyer at Caesars Sportsbook, there were more than 20 wagers of at least $10,000 placed on the Super Bowl almost immediately after the matchup was set.
And that was just at one sportsbook. Across the betting landscape, the handles keep getting bigger and bigger.
There have been 24 spread or moneyline bets of at least $10,000 placed already at @CaesarsSports for Super Bowl LVII.
Eagles: 21
Chiefs: 3The spread opened at pick and it's now at Eagles -2.
