The Phoenix Suns have recalled rookie Ty Jerome from the G League after a rehab assignment with the Northern Arizona Suns Tuesday night against the Iowa Wolves.
The game marked his first since suffering a sprained right ankle in practice on Oct. 21. The plan for Jerome was to play some minutes in the G League and get some reps in before re-joining Phoenix.
The first-round pick logged 13 minutes off of the bench during the 132-107 loss, recording a team-high nine points during the first half before sitting out the rest of the game.
With the Suns set to play the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, it is possible Jerome could make his official debut with two upcoming home games.

Prior to playing on Tuesday, Jerome hadn’t suited up since the preseason. In four preseason games, Jerome averaged 6.8 points, 3.8 assists and one steal while shooting 45.8% from the field.
After being sidelined for the past month with the injury, it appears as though Jerome is ready to play again and officially kick off his rookie season.
