“I feel good to be here,” said former University of Connecticut standout combo guard Stephon Castle as his new ball club, the San Antonio Spurs, prepares to shift gears from playing in the California Classic Summer League to the NBA’s 2024 Las Vegas Summer League.
“It was good to get a little practicing in while he’s here to break the ice, but it’s going to be cool to be on the court with Donovan (Clingan) again,” added Castle, referring to his fellow champion Husky and current Portland Trail Blazers big man that Castle is set to play against in Sin City action.
The host of the “Locked On Spurs” podcast, Jeff Garcia, put together an excellent clip of Castle’s pre-Vegas comments for all of us to enjoy at our leisure while we get up to speed on what is next for the Summer Spurs.
Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what e had to say.
