Summer Game Fest 2023 is just around the corner, with its usual promise of world premieres, trailers, teases, and more for upcoming video games. The list of attendees is a little bit different in 2023 compared to the previous year, though, and so is the timing. Geoff Keighley’s not-E3 summer extravaganza will feature over three dozen publishers and several hours’ worth of announcements and trailers. While we know a bit about what to expect – Mortal Kombat, for one thing – and who’s attending the show, much of the presentation is still under wraps.
Keep in mind that Summer Game Fest is the actual event that takes place on one day, which is what this post covers, and an umbrella under which several publishers – including some with games to show at the actual event – will host presentations of their own.
