Western Kentucky quarterback Bailey Zappe is putting up video-game numbers for the Hilltoppers this season.
Through nine games Zappe has completed 69.9% of his passes for 3,688 yards, 37 touchdowns and six interceptions. But when you look at some of his single-game numbers, the production is eye-popping. Zappe threw for seven touchdowns in a season-opening win over Tennessee-Martin. He threw for five touchdowns in a win over Old Dominion in Week 6.
Against Michigan State in Week 4? Zappe completed 46 of 64 passes for 488 yards and three touchdowns.
