Stud: RB John Emery Jr.
Emery earned more playing time this week and highly impressed. The sophomore ran for 103 yards and one touchdown on eight carries. The power on his carries gave Vanderbilt a tough time closing the gaps when trying to stop him in open space.
With Chris Curry not playing, Emery Jr. took a big step and might have re-opened the starting running back competition moving forward.
