Dud: Pass Defense
On defense, LSU gave up 623 passing yards and five touchdowns to Costello. Even with Stingley out, those numbers are unheard of coming from an LSU defense.
More often than not during the game, the Bulldogs receivers were open on crossing routes or had a step ahead of the Tigers defenders.
Given the level of talent, this area of the defense must make adjustments for the remainder of the season, starting next week at Vanderbilt.
