The Texas Longhorns should be starting their prep for the Kansas Jayhawks but due to five positive COVID-19 tests that is on hold.
Looking back at the Kansas State game, the Longhorns provided a lot of optimism especially on the offensive side of the ball. The running back duo of Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson provided a good chunk of the offense with six out of the teams nine touchdowns on Saturday.
Quarterback Sam Ehlinger wasn’t asked to do much with how explosive the offense looked, Bijan provided most of that. Ehlinger did throw for two touchdowns. Both of which went to his tight ends in Cade Brewer and Malcolm Epps.
Defensively they did give up 31 points but nothing after 9:13 left in the third quarter. They were able to force punts and create turnovers in the game. This allowed the younger players to see some action late in the game with a 38-point lead.
