Former Vol Josh Richardson has been traded from Dallas to Boston.
Boston is Richardson’s third team in three years.
He played for the Mavericks last season after spending the 2019-20 campaign in Philadelphia, where he was teammates with fellow former Vol Tobias Harris.
Richardson played for Miami between 2015-19 after being selected by the Heat in the second round of the 2015 NBA draft. He was taken with the No. 40 overall selection.
Richardson played for Tennessee between 2011-15 and was an All-Southeastern Conference standout as a senior. He was a member of the SEC’s All-Defensive team during his junior and senior campaigns at Tennessee.
With the Celtics, Richardson will play with former Vol, Grant Williams.
