The Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life remake isn’t Switch exclusive, Marvelous Entertainment clarified in a new trailer. The original announcement debuted during the September Nintendo Direct, and no follow-up came out afterward to say what other platforms the developer planned on publishing the remake for.
However, like Rune Factory and Friends of Mineral Town before it, A Wonderful Life will release on all platforms, including Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, when the game launches outside Japan in summer 2023. Marvelous hasn’t announced an exact release date yet, but if it follows in the path plowed by Mineral Town, then July 2023 seems like a safe bet.
A Wonderful Life first released under the Harvest Moon name in 2003 and put a different spin on the farm sim. You grow seeds and make friends like normal, but you also age as time passes. Your fellow villagers lives and circumstances change, leading to some farewells and new arrivals, and if you decide to marry, you can watch your child grow up and chart their own course as well.
Similar to the Friends of Mineral Town remake, A Wonderful Life remake lets you romance eligible candidates of either gender and customize how your farmer looks, though it seems gender options are still limited to the male/female binary.
