The Iowa Hawkeyes have won again! Bouncing back from being shut out by Penn State last week, defense and special teams led the Hawkeyes to a 26-16 win over Michigan State.
Picture the most stereotypical Iowa win over the past two years, and that was this game. The offense was completely lackluster, the rushing attack nonexistent. Still, it was enough for the defense and special teams to make some spectacular plays to save them and earn a victory. That’s kind of who Iowa football has been, and it somehow worked again Saturday night.
